There’s no time quite like Halloween in the Wizarding World, and mobile RPG Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is gearing up for the spooky month with special in-game events and quests.
The Halloween content launches Oct. 8, with characters gearing up for the annual Hallowe’en feast. The ghosts of Hogwarts — Nearly Headless Nick of Gryffindor, the Fat Friar of Hufflepuff, the Grey Lady of Ravenclaw and the Bloody Baron of Slytherin — will be seen wandering the hallowed halls. Third years will get a chance to face Boggarts, and fourth years have permission to explore the Forbidden Forest.
A new side quest will debut mid-month, and players will have to brush up their knowledge of defensive spells to thwart the dark force looming on Hogwarts’ horizon. This dark quest will also unlock a special Dueling Club event.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery launched in April from Jam City under Warner Bros.’ Portkey Games label. It’s currently available to play for free on Android and iOS.
