Students at Hogwarts can now put their dueling skills to the test. The first multiplayer event series for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery brings the Duelling Club to the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, matching players up for a chance to show off their magical finesse.
In the first event, kicking off July 12, players will receive three tickets inviting them to participate in duels. Opponents will be randomly selected from other Facebook Connect users. The loser will have to give up one of their tickets, while the winner gets to keep theirs and also gets a special reward.
If you lose all your tickets this round, never fear. Additional Duelling Club events will be released throughout the summer, so there’s plenty of time to sharpen your dueling skills and make your House proud. Though there’s no Dumbledore’s Army to train with, players are invited to practice with other Harry Potter fans around the world. More information can be found on the game’s official site.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, developed by Jam City under Warner Bros.’ Portkey Games label, is the first full-fledged Harry Potter RPG and allows players to create their own characters in the Harry Potter Universe. Players can attend classes, make friends, and experience life as a Hogwarts student. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is available now on Android and iOS.
