It’s been nearly a year since Avengers: Endgame hit theaters, but thanks to bootleg recordings, we’ll always have audiences reacting to the Marvel Cinematic Universe finale in real time.
Twitter user Scott Gustin has been resurfacing some of those clips on Twitter, and the virality of each one shows just how compelling these moments still are. At least when they’re accompanied by screaming fans. Here’s Cap wielding Thor’s hammer:
Just stop what you’re doing and enjoy listening to the #AvengersEndgame opening night crowd react to Captain America wielding Thor's hammer.

Gustin has also posted the source of his clips, if you want to check out a whole 40 minutes of live audience reactions to Avengers: Endgame.
This should also give some insight into why Disney postponed Black Widow all the way to November. Marvel Studios builds its biggest moments on the electricity of live community responses — and it wants to give the public plenty of time to get used to going to theaters again.
