It’s March in both real life and in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which means there’s a new set of things to do. Our Animal Crossing: New Horizons March events list will detail what you need to keep your eyes out for in March, whether it’s events or shopping exclusives.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons seasonal events in March

Not much is going on in March. The snow has melted away, and there aren’t any holidays (though Festivale can happen during March, it doesn’t until 2025).

Young Spring Bamboo has begun to appear if you have bamboo on your island. With it, special seasonal spring recipes using Young Spring Bamboo will drop from balloons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bugs, fish, and sea creatures in March

If you’re still missing fish, bugs, and sea creatures from your encyclopedia, there’s a handful of new creatures appearing on your island. In addition to this, there’s also quite a few who will be leaving your island when April comes around, so make sure to grab them when you can.

Nook Shopping exclusive items for March

If you’re a completionist who wants a variety of furniture, clothing, and goods, make sure you grab these event-timed items from the Nook Shopping app:

  • March 10-17: Shamrock Hat, Rug, Shoes, Suit, Wand, Doorplate, Sunglasses, and Soda
  • March 26-April 1: Whoopee Cushion

These items are only orderable in these timeframes, so if you miss out on them, you’ll have to time travel or wait a full year for them to return.
