Fast Travel in Dying Light 2 requires a little bit of work. A few Fast Travel locations will unlock automatically as part of the main story, but the rest require you to find a Metro Station Nighttime Activity.
In this Dying Light 2 Fast Travel and Metro Station guide, we’ll give you a map to every Metro Station and Fast Travel location. We’ll also explain what you’ll have to do when you get there.
Dying Light 2 Fast Travel and Metro Stations locations map
There are 10 Fast Travel locations scattered around Old Villedor and the Central Loop. Two of them — Main Terminal Station in Quarry End and PK Floating Fortress in The Wharf unlock as you progress through the main story. The other eight require you to find them and complete each one’s Metro Station Nighttime Activity.
When you unlock the first Metro Station, you’ll get the Tunnel Entrance achievement or trophy. When you unlock every Metro Station, you’ll earn the Tube Map achievement or trophy.
Once a Fast Travel destination or Metro Station is unlocked, you’ll be able to Fast Travel to them from anywhere at any time (as long as you’re not actively in a story mission). Head to your Map, and hover over one of the icons with the three arrows. Hold down the prompt to Fast Travel.
At the bottom of stairs in every Metro Station, there’s also a Metro map. If you approach this map, you’ll get another Fast Travel prompt. That will take you to the Map where you can choose your destination.
Metro Station Activity
Power up the Metro Station
When you first arrive at a Metro Station, it won’t be active. You’ll have to head down the stairs at night and clear out any enemies you find — Infected or, later, Renegades. Your goal is to “Power up the Metro Station” by finding a fuse box and throwing the switch.
Most of the time, though, this won’t finish the Activity.
Turn on the emergency generators
After you throw the switch, you’ll get a new objective: “Turn on the emergency generators.” There will be four of them.
Metro Stations have the same general layout, so the process will be the same. You’ll head into the elevator, and then crawl beneath the elevator to drop the rest of the way down.
In the lowest level, you’ll need to navigate a Chemical Area that drains your Immunity while you jump around to flip the switches on the four generators marked on your HUD.
When a Metro Station is unlocked, you’ll get a Bed and a Stash in a Safe Zone. You’ll also find a(t least one) Inhibitor in that Safe Zone in every Metro Station
