Klei Entertainment, the developer behind popular games such as Don’t Starve and Mark of the Ninja, revealed its latest game today. Griftlands was announced via its Steam page, prior to a reveal on the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017.

Griftlands is a role-playing game with a colorful, cartoony art style. According to the Steam page, morality choices will play a major part in the game. The trailer for the game includes the tagline: “Charm, fight, negotiate, cheat, explore, steal, profit,” suggesting the range of options that will be available.

Battles appear to take place in a turn-based fashion with small groups facing off against each other.

Klei has multiple other games in the works right now. Oxygen Not Included is an impressive resource management game currently in early access, and the platformer Hot Lava was announced last year. Griftlands is planned for release in late 2017 or early 2018.
