In this Elden Ring Weeping Peninsula dungeons and rewards guide, we’ll list all of the optional dungeons in the Weeping Peninsula with their locations on a map and tell you about the rewards you’ll get for completing each of them.
Elden Ring’s dungeons are optional areas — usually caves or tunnels — for you to explore. They usually have a valuable reward or valuable crafting materials inside.
Elden Ring Weeping Peninsula dungeon locations
Not every one of the icons on the map above is for a dungeon (or a cave, catacomb, or tunnel), strictly speaking. Instead, we’ve marked dungeons as well as ruins or other locations that contain a mini-boss or a valuable reward (or both). You’ll find them in the following locations:
- Castle Morne
- Earthbore Cave
- Impaler’s Catacombs
- Morne Tunnel
- Oridy’s Rise
- Tombsword Catacombs
- Tombsword Cave
All the way in the south of the Weeping Peninsula, you’ll find the Castle Morne — it’s like a miniature version of a legacy dungeon, so there’s a lot going on here including several sites of grace. There are lots of enemies, lots of crafting materials to collect, and a couple valuable items like a Stonesword Key and a few new weapons for you to find. The area’s boss is a Leonine Misbegotten who drops a Grafted Blade Greatsword. You’ll need to visit Castle Morne to continue Irina’s quest (by speaking to Edgar).
The Earthbore Cave is a pretty simple dungeon on the northern shore of the Weeping Peninsula. As soon as you walk in, the floor gives way and you’ll have to battle a Runebear. After that, you’re free to wander and pick up any items around, the most important of which is a Spelldrake Talisman that reduces the damage you take from magic attacks.
The Impaler’s Catacombs are similar to the Stormfoot Catacombs in Limgrave. You’ll face a handful of imps and then a(nother) Erdtree Burial Watchdog. Your reward this time is the Demi-Human Spirit Ashes.
The Morne Tunnel dungeon along the river in south central Weeping Peninsula is full of items like cracked crystals and smithing stones. This dungeon’s boss is the Scaly Misbegotten who drops the Rusted Anchor greataxe weapon.
Oridy’s Rise is a solitary tower atop the plateau on the eastern shore of the Weeping Peninsula. To get inside, you’ll have to kill three invisible turtles (tortoises) nearby. Your reward is a Memory Stone that adds an incantation or sorcery slot.
The Tombsword Catacombs are full of persistent skeletons and guarded by a Cemetery Shade boss. You’ll find some useful crafting items, but your major rewards are the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook behind a Stonesword Key lock and the Lhutel the Headless Spirit Ashes the boss drops.
The Tombsword Cave (not to be confused with the Tombstone Catacombs) are tunnels full of poison flowers and some rats. While exploring, you’ll pick up the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook . This dungeon’s boss is Miranda the Blighted Bloom who will drop the Viridian Amber Medallion that boosts your stamina.
