Elden Ring Tetsu’s Rise turtles puzzle guide

Tetsu’s Rise is a location in Elden Ring’s Liurnia of the Lakes region, where you can find a Memory Stone. In this Elden Ring Tetsu’s Rise guide, we’ll tell you where to find the tower, what loot to expect, and where to find three turtle (aka wise beats) enemies you must defeat to enter the tower.

Tetsu’s Rise is a small tower located on an island to the north of Raya Lucaria Academy. You can easily reach it by starting at Northern Liurnia Lake Shore, and then heading southeast across the shallow water to reach the island. The Sorcerer’s Isle site of grace is located along the island’s southern side. Head uphill from there to reach the tower itself.

Tetsu’s Rise loot

Your only real reason to visit the island is to snag another Memory Stone, which allows you to equip additional sorcery or incantations at the same time from a site of grace. Crafting materials located within the vicinity are easily acquired in numerous other locations around the region.

Three wise beasts: Hunting turtles

To climb the tower and find your prize at the top, you must first remove a seal on the tower’s entrance. Check the pedestal on the hillside ahead of the seal to learn you must seek three wise beasts. This means you must kill the three turtle enemies that will spawn after you read that message.

Spectral skeletons also emerge from the soil to attack you as you go about your mission. Your enemies move slowly, so you should have little difficulty staying out of their way. There’s not much point in stopping to fight them, since more will simply replace any you kill.

One tortoise is located along the slopes to your left as you are looking at the pedestal.

Another tortoise clings to a tree on the back side of the tower. Eliminate it with a ranged attack or sorcery.

Yet another tortoise waits partway down the cliffs to the tower’s right side, along a grassy ledge.

Climb the tower

Once you defeat all three turtles, enter the tower to find a ladder. Climb it to reach a higher ledge with some steps. Then climb the steps to collect the Memory Stone from a treasure chest.
