Rose Church is a dungeon in Elden Ring’s Liurnia of the Lakes region, where you will find the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook and obtain the Bloody Finger and Pureblood Knight’s Medal from the resident NPC. In this Elden Ring Rose Church guide, we’ll tell you where to find the area, what loot to expect, and enemies you’ll encounter.
How to get to Rose Church
Rose Church is located on a small island in the marshland south of Raya Lucaria Academy. Head due west from the Fallen Ruins of the Lake site of grace to reach it most conveniently.
Rose Church loot
During your visit to Rose Church, you can acquire the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook , and will meet with an NPC named White-Faced Varré who awards you the Bloody Finger once you complete his quest. This is a valuable item that you can reuse as often as you like to invade other players. You can also receive the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, and harvest Bloodrose materials from brush throughout the vicinity.
A quest for Varré
When you visit Rose Church, head toward the front of the church from the shoreline. If you have already spoken to him in Roundtable Hold after defeating Godrick the Grafted, you will meet an NPC named White-Faced Varré near the church’s entry archway. He hands over the Festering Bloody Finger, and Varré offers you a quest.
To complete Varré’s quest, first invade other players three times at any location using Festering Bloody Finger items. Then meet with Varré again at the church to receive the Lord of Blood’s Favor. Soak that rag in the blood of a nun, such as the corpse located in the Church of Inhibition. Bring it back to Varré to receive the useful Bloody Finger, which has a similar effect as its festering variety. The difference is that you can use it infinite times. Talk to Varré again to also receive the Pureblood Knight’s Medal.
Besides meeting with Varré, search the area for the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook near its outer walls. There also are plentiful Bloodrose plants to harvest for your crafting needs. Beware, as a powerful armored enemy attacks you within the church building. Some weaker foes also wait for you outside its walls.
