Frenzy-Flaming Tower is located near the northeastern part of the Liurnia of the Lakes region, south from the Grand Lift of Dectus site of grace. On horseback, head down the wide stairs leading up to the lift, then veer left and ascend the roadway leading up that hill. When you can, veer left ahead of a high rock wall and proceed along some rocky cliffs to find gusts of air you can ride up to a higher ledge not far from the tower. Quickly ride forward from there to reach the tower.
Frenzy-Flaming Tower loot
Your reward in the Frenzy-Flaming Tower is the Howl of Shabriri, a powerful incantation that builds up madness in nearby foes.
A bout with madness
Follow the directions above to reach the Frenzy-Flaming Tower from the Grand Lift of Dectus site of grace. That specific route is recommended because it minimizes the amount of time you must spend traveling within view of the tower, where numerous local residents cast powerful incantations that quickly begin to inflict madness while you are in view. Madness causes you to suffer extensive damage once it hits you, even though you don’t seem to suffer much up to that point.
As you reach the tower, quickly eliminate several rats that emerge from the opening on the ground floor. Use quick melee strikes, as your foes are large and ferocious. Go in swinging and don’t give them long enough to surround you. Then, once the rats are defeated, climb the ladders leading to the tower’s top floor.
Once you reach the highest level, quickly eliminate the waiting frenzied villagers. When you attack one of them, the others spot you and will quickly begin inflicting the madness status ailment. Therefore, you must eliminate all of them swiftly. Melee attacks may not get the job done in time. Try sorcery with a wide area of attack, if you have it, or use a hefty weapon with a broad swing that strikes multiple enemies at once.
When you defeat the villagers at the top of the tower, the threat of madness ends and you can descend the ladder at your leisure to find a chest on the lower floor. It holds the powerful Howl of Shabriri incantation.
