Genshin Impact guide: Araumi cube puzzle solution

How to get to that pesky Teleport Waypoint and Domain near the Perpetual Mechanical Array boss

Julia Lee (she/her) is a guides producer, writing guides for games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Genshin Impact. She helped launch the Rift Herald in 2016.

Once you complete several of the quests in the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual world quest line in Genshin Impact, you’ll have access to the Araumi ruins. There are several sets of puzzles in these ruins that you’ll have to complete in order to unlock access to a Waypoint Teleporter and a Domain. Our Genshin Impact guide will provide the cube puzzle solutions.

Once you’ve completed the world quests “A Strange Story in Konda” and “Sacrificial Offering,” you’ll be tasked with finding three more shrines in the quest “Cleansing Defilement.” One of these shrines is in Aruami. You will not be able to access the Teleport Waypoint nor the Domain if you do not do these quests.

When you get down to the Torii gate in Aruami, if you go to the left, there is a cube puzzle that is unrelated to the Cleansing Defilement quest.

To solve it, stand up on the elevated platform towards the back, so you’re facing the glowing side of the middle cube. From here, fire shots with a bow-user at the bottom left cube once, the upper right cube twice, and then the bottom left cube one more time.

If you mess up the cubes during this, log out and back in for them to reset to default positions.

Completing this puzzle will drain the water, allowing you to swim down along the ruins. Swim straight back to the stairs. Once you get to the top, turn around for another cube puzzle.

To solve this one, just hit the middle cube twice in a row.

After you do this, the rest of the water will drain, opening up a new passage for you to take. Unlock the doors you find along the way by interacting with the mechanisms next to them. Eventually, this will lead you to the elusive Teleport Waypoint, as well as the Perpetual Mechanical Array boss and Tutelage: A Thousand Scrolls domain.

The next level of puzzles.

Take a break from your day by playing a puzzle or two! We’ve got SpellTower, Typeshift, crosswords, and more.
