Where to find all the Phantasmal Conches in Genshin Impact

The Golden Apple Archipelago is back in Genshin Impact for patch 2.8’s events, and along with it are the mysterious conches you can find around the islands. Collecting these Phantasmal Conches will reward you with Fischl’s skin, Ein Immernachtstraum. Our Genshin Impact guide lists out where to find every conch in the Golden Apple Archipelago.

You only need 16 Phantasmal Conches to claim Fischl’s free skin and Primogems, but you’ll get some extra Mora and weapon EXP if you find all 20.

You can check which conch you may be missing by opening the event menu and selecting “The Photographer’s Words.”

Update (July 19): We’ve completed this guide with the addition of the Phantasmal Conches from day two, three, four, and five of the event.

This conch is on a slope towards on the northern island in Twinning Isle.

The third Echoing Conch is sitting on a rock, again by the shore of Broken Isle.

This conch is on the lower part of Broken Isle, sitting on a rock in plain sight.

This conch is on the backside of the island, near the water, and a group of enemies dancing around some debris.

This conch is at the bottom part of the island, inside the hollowed out mountain.

This conch is on the smaller eastern island, just on the shore.

This conch, which glows with a different color, is on the northeast part of Broken Isle, by the wooden steps.

This conch is at the very top of the cliff, right next to the Teleport Waypoint.

This conch is on some of the ruins along the inside of the mountain. You can grab it as you climb up.

This conch is at the top of the mountain and a cutscene will play once you collect it. To climb up the mountain, you’ll need to scale up the roots and ruins inside the hallowed out mountain.

This day three conch is only available after completing the Xinyan part of the event, “Blazin’ Trails,” and it’s locked behind a puzzle on Broken Isle involving fire pillars. It’s only accessible when the western mountain is shorter through a cave entrance on the north side. When you pick it up, it will trigger a cutscene.

This conch is just in the center of the island on some crates.

After clearing Fischl’s domain, talk with the three stone birds around the well and then put three rocks (or ores) into the well to raise the Imaging Conch and the water.

It took a bit of fussing to get all three birds to talk and for the prompt to add stones to appear, just because the targeting system in Genshin is a little messy. Rotate your character around the well to help with this.

Picking up this conch will result in a cutscene.

As the Poet Plies Parts of Ether and Earth, Echoing Conch (Kazuha domain)

This day two Echoing Conch is inside of Kazuha’s third domain as part of the “Misty Hills, Foggy Vales” part of the event. It’s on a table inside the domain and you cannot miss it if you’re just running through it.

This conch was not available at the events launch and was added on day two (July 16).

As the Virtuoso Vouches for Verity and Valor, Echoing Conch (Xinyan’s domain)

This day three Echoing Conch is inside of Xinyan’s domain, “The Islands’ Stirring Strings.” After completing the bulk of the domain, enter the door to the right of the entrance to the ice flower’s room. From there, just keep trucking along the path, activating the guitars and follow the allegro blooms air currents.

Once you beat the two large Stonehide Lawachurls, a purple crane will spawn in the center of the area. Follow it through yet another door (and eventually, another door) to get to the area with the conch. After completing some of this area, you’ll get blown up to a platform with the conch on a rock. (You’ll be able to see the white conch symbol on your map.) Set up the allegro blooms to blow you up the rock to grab the conch.

As the Stars Reveal Secrets, Echoing Conch (Mona’s domain)

This conch is only available after revisiting Mona’s domain post-story completion. It is at the end of the south temple room, sitting on a stone brick.

This conch was not available at the event’s launch and was added on day five (July 19.)

As the Noble’s Resolve, Echoing Conch (Fischl’s domain)

This day four Echoing Conch is on a table in the second part of Fischl’s domain. It can be easy to pass if you’re not looking for it, so make sure to look for the conch shell icon on your minimap to find it.
