Wood can be a bit difficult to come by in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and you’ll need it for certain requests like “Please! Make Me a Pokéshi Doll!” and an late-game story quest.
In this Pokémon Legends: Arceus guide, we’ll show you where wood tends to spawn and where you can find a reliable source in each of the game’s five biomes.

Where can I find wood in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
How can you find wood in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Wood spawns in all five biomes and always appears under trees. But unlike many other resources in the game, it’s sparse, and you’ll only find it in a few spots around the map.
Since it only appears in a few locations, though, it’s actually quite easy to farm. Once you know which tree a piece of wood spawns under, you can travel to it, pick up the wood, leave the biome, and reenter it to force wood to respawn. While a bit tedious, you can get unlimited wood this way.
Below, we’ve listed five different locations where wood spawns — one for each biome. If you’re in need of wood, just spawn in and out of one of those locations and grab the piece.

One spawn point for wood in the Obsidian Fieldlands is just off Deertrack Path, marked with the red arrow on the map above.

Head across the bridge in Aspiration Hill and hang left. The tree the wood rests under is near a mountain.
Crimson Mirelands wood location

Wood is rare in the Crimson Mirelands, but you can still find it near Brava Arena, marked with the red arrow on the map above

You’ll need to make your way through the Diamond Settlement and up into the mountains for this one. It’s a long trek, especially early in Pokémon Legends: Arceus when you can’t fly or climb. It’s worth grabbing the wood in the Crimson Mirelands if you’re nearby, but other locales are far more convenient.
Cobalt Coastlands wood location

While the Cobalt Coastlands is mostly beach, there are still plenty of trees on the island. You can find a piece of Wood near Castaway Shore, as marked by the red arrow on the map above.

To get to Castaway Shore, spawn into the Cobalt Coastlands and keep left. But instead of going up into the Windbreak Stand, go along the beach where all the Machokes are. You’ll find a tree that gives wood near the cliff.
Coronet Highlands wood location

The Coronet Highlands is a later game area, but the wood is very easy to get to, as marked by the red arrow in the map above.

To get to the wood-giving-tree in the Coronet Highlands, spawn into Heavenward Lookout, turn right at the ruins, and go straight. You’ll bump into the tree near the cliff.
Alabaster Icelands wood location

The wood in the Alabaster Icelands is far from the start, but since you’ll get flying in this area, it’s still pretty easy to get to. The wood tree is marked by the red arrow in the map above.

To get to the wood quickly, spawn into the Icepeak Camp. Hop on Braviary and fly over to the Glacial Terrace. Keep flying up the path and you’ll find a small bluff with a single tree on your left. Land on the bluff and grab the wood that spawns there.
