Once you purchase the Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion pass and boot up the game, you’ll be notified that you can now visit the Isle of Armor.

A pop-up in-game will tell you that you received an Armor Pass and to head over. Note that you’ll only get this ticket if you’ve gotten to the Wild Area in the main game. If you still haven’t reached that point, you won’t be able to start the expansion. (Don’t worry, it happens very early.)

After getting your ticket, you can talk to a man in a vest at the Wedgehurst Station. He’ll load you into a Corviknight taxi and send you on your way.

If you bought the expansion but are not getting the notice that you’ve gotten the Armor Pass, close your game and make sure it’s updated. You can force an update by pressing X while selecting the game from the Nintendo Switch home screen. After you update and restart the game, it should give you your Armor Pass.
